NDPP 15th Southern Angami-II A/C conducts sports meet

Kohima, Oct. 12 (EMN): NDPP, 15th Southern Angami-II Assembly Constituency conducted a sports meet at John Government Higher Secondary School, Viswema on Saturday.
Zale Neikha, Member of the Legislative Assembly from the constituency who is also the advisor for Youth Resources and Sports, conveyed a message from the Minister for Higher and Technical Education and Tribal Affairs and President of BJP Nagaland, Temjen Imna Along, at the event.

Along was supposed to attend the valedictory function as special guest but did not, citing unavoidable circumstances.
Neikha addressed the party members and maintained that the NDPP-BJP coalition PDA government is rooted and will last the full term and urged the people not to be misled by rumours. He expressed happiness over the sporting event, saying the people of the constituency love sports. He also acknowledged the effort of the 15th Southern Angami-II A/C office bearers for making it possible.

He asserted the convergence of the constituent seven village units through sports must re-strengthen and be a platform for understanding each other better. Pitching on the Naga political solution, he asserted the government is committed for early solution and if God willing, it will happen soon.

Neikha also urged the people to recommit and strive to be truthful and honest to one another as a party.
Kezo Town unit won the women’s volleyball while Sakhabama unit walked away with the second prize. Viswema Unit lifted men’s football champion trophy and Khuzama unit won the second prize.
