Nagaland sport climbing team bags two medals in Nationals
Dimapur, Sep. 11 (EMN): The Nagaland Sport Climbing Association (NSCA) in an update on Wednesday stated that it won two medals in the recently held All India Sport Climbing Competition organised by IMF North East Zone which was held at Indian Himalayan Centre for Adventure and Eco-tourism, Chemchey in South Sikkim from September 6 to the 8th.
Thanglalmon Thomsong, a sub-junior boy from Government Middle School, Phaipijang bagged a silver medal in Speed and a bronze medal in Lead event respectively.
Altogether, four climbers from Nagaland represented the Northeast in Speed and Lead event. NSCA president Aketo Ayemi further congratulated all the participants for bringing laurels to the state and wished them success in the days to come.
