Nagaland Pencak Silat Association to take part in Northeast c’ship

Dimapur, Jan. 31 (EMN): A total of 24 players and six officials of Nagaland Pencak Silat Association will participate in the upcoming 3rd North East Pencak Silat Championship which will be held at Dhekiajuli, Assam from February 1 to the 3rd. The team will lead by Master Deep Kumar, Head Coach of the Association according to an update by the Nagaland Pencak Silat Association on Friday.

Pencak Silat sports is recognised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India, Asian Olympic Council, Sports Authority of India, School Games Federation of India and Association of Indian Universities.

The Nagaland Pencak Silat contingents are Tiayanger Imsong, Asa V. Chishi, Kevin, Altab Uddin Choudhury, Jon, Imnatoshi Longkumer, Dipraj Paswan, Tovi Sema, Manish Chhetri, Nasher Uddin Choudhury, Akivito Zhimo, Vitope Sheqi, Chithuyio Kajisho (Aboi) Ritodeep Bhattacharjee, Poonish Chhetri, Alono Awomi, Hridhinandan Bhattacharjee, Avikali V. Sheqi, Liike Kibami, Zouzam, Shreya Das, Rachel Kikon, and Hinokali.
