2nd State Level Teachers’ Conference
The 2nd State Level Teachers’ Conference will be organising by the SCERT on August 22 to 23 at NBCC Convention Hall, Kohima. The inaugural programme will commenced from 10 .am. Minister for School Education Nagaland, Tokheho Yepthomi and Parliamentary Secretary for SCERT and Economics & Statistics, Er. Kropol Vitsu will be gracing the inaugural and valedictory programme respectively.
Government school teachers from all the 11 districts of the State including representatives from the Directorate of School Education (DoSE), NBSE, RMSA, SSA, DIETs and EBRCs will participate in two-day conference.

DYO to hold annual youth conclave
Darogapathar Youth Organisation (DYO) will be holding its annual Youth Conclave 2017, under the thwme “Progress in Unity” on August 12, 10 a.m. at Delhi Public School, “B” Block Darogapathar, Dimapur. Limasunep, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Dimapur and Asangba Chuba, IAS, Commissioner of Taxes, Dimapur will be the speakers of the programme. The event aims to educate the youth and mould them as leaders with a vision for tomorrow’s better society.

GPS Eralibill clarifies on show cause notice
With regard to the show cause notice NOED/BMS/MISC-1/2017-18 dated 10-8-2017, the School Management of Government Primary School (GPS) Eralibill, has clarified that Sl no. 63 Hotolu (P/T) and Sl no. 64 Iriechele (P/T) are dumping/ forged names/ teachers from GPS Eralibill. The school therefore urged the concerned authority to look into the matter to stop further confusion and chaos. New Market Kohima mass social work
New Market Area Panchayat and New Market Youth Organisation Kohima will be conducting mass social work on August 12. All residents of New Market Area have been asked to participate positively.

PWUK students gathering
The Phekmi Welfare Union Kohima (PWUK) is organising its 1st students gathering programme, under the theme “Together we shall strive for excellence,” on August 12, 10 a.m. at Sahitya Sabha Hall, PR Hill, Kohima. Vice principal, DIET Chiechama, Vechisa Venuh will be speaker for the event. Registration will start from 9 a.m. onwards.

KCSU to hold union assembly
Kohima Chakhesang Students’ Union (KCSU) will be holding its 1st Union Assembly on August 19, 11 a.m. at Capital College of Higher Education. All affiliated units of KCSU have been requested to attend the assembly with 2 representatives from each college. Seniors are also invited to the assembly. Failing to comply with the notice, the concerned will be called for explanation. For more detail one may contact assembly secretary Vewolo Koza at 7005099720.

GVYO informs members
The Gariphema Village Youth Organisation (GVYO) has informed all its bonafied members that there will be mass social work on August 12 in and around the village vicinity to be followed by maintenance work at the 5 km Plantation along the village approach road carried out during the ‘Green Gariphema’ initiative of the Gariphema Village Vission Cell and the Gariphema Fathers Association. Transportation will be arranged with the fuel provided by DC Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS, for community initiatives. Departure timing has been scheduled at 6:30 a.m. from High School junction Kohima.
