Nagaland government announces senior-level bureaucratic rejig

The Nagaland government on Friday ordered the promotion, transfer and posting of senior-level IAS, NCS, and NSS officers in the state with immediate effect.

“In the interest of public service, the Governor of Nagaland is pleased to order transfer and posting of the following IAS/NCS/NSS officers with immediate effect”, stated in the notifications issued by Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department on April 3. The notification from the Chief Secretary is signed by Akunu S Meyase, Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland.

Nagaland Chief Secretary Temjen Toy (IAS) is relieved of the charge of Chief Finance Commissioner. While, Sentiyanger Imchen (IAS) ACS & APC is transferred and posted as Finance Commissioner.

R. Ramakrishnan (IAS), Principal Secretary of Health & Family Welfare, Justice & Law and Science & Technology is relieved of the charge of H & FW and Science & Technology.

Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister, Development Commissioner, and Tribal Affairs Department, Jan-e Alam (IAS), will hold additional charge of Transport Department for matters relating to Civil Aviation, Railway and Waterways.

Principal Secretary of Water Resources, OT Chingmak (IAS) is transferred and posted as Principal Secretary of Science & Technology. While, Kenilo Apon, (IAS) Commissioner & Secretary Transport is transferred and posted as Commissioner & Secretary of Water Resources.

Kikheto Sema (IAS), Commissioner & Secretary, Horticulture is transferred and posted as APC and Commissioner & Secretary, Agriculture Department.

Chubasangla Anar  (IAS) Commissioner & Secretary, Land Revenue, NRE and F& CS is relieved of the charge of F&CS.

Anenla T Sato, IAS, Commissioner & Secretary, Women Resource Development shall hold additional charge of Horticulture. Kekhrievor Kevichusa (IPoS) Commissioner & Secretary on deputation is posted as Commissioner & Secretary of Industries & Commerce.

Commissioner & Secretary to Governor Nagaland, T Mhabemo Yanthan (IAS) to hold additional charge of Team Leader, NHBM. Joint Secretary of Art and Culture, Mohammed Ali Shihab (IAS), is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary of Power Department on promotion.

NCS/NSS officers

Additional Secretary of H&FW, Wezope Kenye, NCS, on promotion is retained as Secretary of H&FW.

Secretary for Social Welfare, Sarah R Ritse, is retained as Commissioner & Secretary, Social Welfare on promotion.

K. Libanthung (NCS) Secretary of Works & Housing on promotion is transferred and posted as Commissioner & Secretary of Transport Department.

W Honje Konyak, NCS, Additional Secretary, Works & Housing on promotion is transferred and posted as Secretary, Food & Civil Supplies.

Sehjang Doungel. NCS. Additional Secretary, Soil & Water Conservation on promotion is transferred and posted as Secretary of Parliamentary Affairs. A Robin Lotha, NCS, Additional Secretary of Transport on promotion is retained as Secretary of Transport.

Sedevikho Khro (NCS), Secretary of Power is transferred and posted as Commissioner of Excise. While, Tarep Imchen, NCS, Commissioner of Excise is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary of Works & Housing. Director of Youth and Sports Resource, Akumla Chuba (NCS) is retained as the same on promotion.

 Zarenthung Ezung (NCS), Joint Secretary of Horticulture on promotion is retained as Addl. Secretary of Horticulture. Imtirenla Jamir, NCS, Joint Secretary, Works & Housing and Team Leader, NBM on promotion is retained as Additional Secretary, Works & Housing and Team Leader NBM.

Zhothisa Dawhuo, NCS, Director, Lotteries on promotion is retained as Director of Lotteries. John B Chawang, NCS, Joint Secretary of Eco. & Statistics on promotion is retained as Additional Secretary of Eco. & Statistics.

Renbonthung Tsopoe, NSS, Additional Secretary, School Education is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Food & Civil Supplies. Chubawati Chang, NCS, Deputy Secretary, IDAN on promotion is retained as Joint Secretary of IDAN.
