Mokokchung motorsport event held at Milak river

Mokokchung, Dec.14: For the first time in Mokokchung a motorsport event was held in an ideally located place – Milak river of Khar village from dawn to dusk which was organised in commemoration of 25th anniversary of Motor Sports by Mokokchung District Sports Council on December 14.
The Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Sushil Kumar Patel flagged off the motorists from Imkongmeren Sports Complex in the morning and the vehicles enthusiasts and participants rallied down to the Milak river via Mopungchuket village.
After a warms welcome by the Khar village councils at the spot, TDS participants took the road to Khar village through the narrow road. But for the most, the entertaining part of the day was the motocross and autocross event where bikers and motorist alike manoeuvred through the river and the dusty rough road.
