Dimapur, Oct. 15 (EMN): Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, in collaboration with the Kalos Society, conducted a two-day mega multi-specialty health camp at Community Health Centre (CHC), Pfutsero, on October 11 and the 12th.
An update from Kalos Society on Tuesday stated that a total number of 1006 patients were registered during the camp. It added that the mega health camp had greatly benefitted the people of Pfutsero and its neighbouring villages. Besides general check-up and consultations, 26 patients underwent surgeries including three major and 23 minor. It added that medicines were distributed free of cost to the patients provided by the medical department and the Kalos Society’s Generic Pharmacy.
The medical team was led by Dr. Vikiyie Losou, principal director of H&FW, along with different specialist doctors from Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) including Dr. Sedengulie Nagi, Dr. N Azo Louis Kharutso, Dr. Imti, Dr. Zhimatho Nyusou, Dr. Tewekhro Losou, Dr. Khrieminuo Koza, Dr. Wemeri Khutso, and five technicians.
Besides doctors from Kohima, Dr. Lhishelo Tsuhah, SMO CHC Pfutsero, and his team comprising Dr. Tikiye Kez, Dr. Bentilo Kath, Dr. Ketukhrie, Wele-u Khalo, Dr. Aneile, Dr. Shevo Hesuh, and Dr. Kulo have rendered their valuable services.
Meanwhile, Kalos Society of Pfutsero has expressed gratitude to the principal director of DH&FW and his team, doctors and staff under CHC Pfutsero and different doctors from various CHC and PHC for their valuable services. It also thanked the ADC Pfustero, PTBC women department, and PTTU for their financial support towards making the camp a grand success.
