Mega Gospel Concert held in Kohima
The Mega Gospel Concert, organised by the Urban Faith Production, a unique Christian-based group from Nagaland, concluded on Oct. 12 at NBCC Hall in Kohima.
The concert featured many prominent local musicians, artists and performers.
The show started with a grand performance from the Rengma Baptist Church Kohima Choir while various artists from across the state performed their best touching the hearts of the huge crowd. Dreamz Unlimited stirred the audience to tears with laughter by their performances and ending their act by giving out meaningful messages to the audience.
Neikiesalie Nicky Kire, Advisor of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs surprised the audiences with his performance by singing.
The advisor urged the people to make use of their talent to glorify God while citing that Nagaland have lots of talented youths. He encouraged the youths by saying that “everyone has a purpose” and asked them to be thankful with what they have today.
Yhunchilo Khing, advisor of Urban Faith Production, while thanking God for the success of the concert, told Eastern Mirror that they were scared in the beginning as it was their first project but after seeing the huge crowd and exceptional performances from the performers, he expressed his confidence for the upcoming events and said they look forward to gathering veteran artists from across the state and “bring out their songs” soon.
The hall was filled by both young and old people.
The concert was organised to send a message to the youths and change their lives as churches do not interest the youths much now-a-days.
