Manipur CM attends to public grievances on ‘Meeyamgi Numit’ and Hill Leaders’ Day

Imphal, Feb. 22 (EMN): Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Saturday attended to complaints and grievances of the people during the joint ‘Meeyamgi Numit’ (People’s Day) and Hill Leaders’ Day at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Imphal.
Singh attended to about 500 complaints and met around 1500 people from 7 am to 1 pm on this day.
Manipur state government organised ‘Meeyamgi Numit’ and Hill Leaders’ Day on the 10th and 15th every month since May 2017, to attend to the grievances of the public.
Health department officials were deputed at the venue to provide medical assistance, issue CHMT, state health card, and reimbursement.
Officials of Manipur State Co-operative Bank Ltd, Education (S), minority and other backward classes, Social Welfare, Police department, State Bank of India and others were also present to address the grievances of the public.
Huge number of people were seen gathered at the gate of CM’s Bungalow since early morning to obtain gate pass.
The Chief Minister’s Secretariat made elaborate arrangements for the convenience of the general public.
A medical team along with ambulance and Manipur Fire Service were kept on stand-by at the complex for emergency.
