Dimapur, Oct. 12 (EMN): Skipper Young FC defeated Hügel Hiflers (Jr) 1-0 on the third day of the ongoing 27th Loyem Memorial Trophy. The match was held at Loyem Memorial Ground, Tuensang, on Saturday.

Organised by the Confederation of Chang Students’ Union (CCSU), the tournament started on October 10.

Thungpang Mongko scored the lone goal of the match for Skipper Young FC in the 55th minute.

Thungti Takum of Hügel Hifliers (Jr) and Chumong of Skipper Young FC was awarded yellow cards during the encounter.

In the second game of the day and the fifth in the tournament, Nyenshen FC thrashed DEF Tuensang 5-0.

Rithsho Mero scored four goals at 21, 31, 34 and 39 minute, while Aloumei added one more by scoring in the 57th minute, rounding up the final score line at 5-0.
