Dimapur, Oct. 15 (EMN): Hügel Hifler (senior) defeated Hügel Hifler (junior) 2-1 on the fifth day of the ongoing Loyem Memorial Trophy 2019 on Tuesday.
An update from the organisers of the tournament informed that Hopong opened the account for Hügel Hifler (senior) by scoring a goal just 10 minutes into the game but Lachumong of Hügel Hifliers (junior) equalised the score in the 22nd minute.
However, Bemolemba scored in the 54th minute to seal the match for Hügel Hifler (senior).
Khaoshoi of Hügel Hiflier (senior) was awarded a yellow card in the 21st minute.
In the second match of the day, DEF Tuensang and Tiaren FC settled for a draw after scoring a goal each.
Yemjong scored in the 18th minute for DEF Tuensang while Akhong scored for Tiaren FC in the 57th minute.
Limathung of DEF Tuensang was awarded a yellow card during the match.
