Lotha Football Championship: A1 Tsungiki and RCR FC register win

Dimapur, Feb. 1 (EMN): Rachan Reserve Chanka (RCR) FC and A1 Tsungiki won their respective matches at the ongoing Lotha Football Championship on Saturday, February 1. This was stated in an update from the general secretary of Wokha District Football Association (WDFA) on Saturday.

In the first match, Rachan Reserve Chanka (RCR) FC thrashed Forest Football Club 7-1 with Aremo of RCR scoring four goals making him the third player to score a hat trick. Zuchamthung and Nongothung also contributed a goal each.

The match between Clique FC and Midland Youth Organisation ended in a 2-2 draw. Jandemo and Phyochibemo found the net for Clique in the 35th and 60th minute of the game, while Rhonthung and Chonben scored for MYO in the 11th and 64th minute.

The final match of the day was played between Pangti Village Sports Association and A1 Tsungiki. Yansothung netted twice in the 18th and 31st minute for Tsungiki, while Supen and Mehuo Angami also contributed a goal each.

Supen of A1 was caution in the 49th minute for unsporting behaviour.
