Jakhama, Jan. 11 (EMN):
Lorhesüto Sophie was crowned the champion of wrestling competition at the 61st annual sports meet organised by Jakhama Youth Organisation (JYO) on Saturday at Jakhama local ground in Jakhama village, some 15 km away from Kohima.

Lorhesüto walked away with a cash prize of INR 15,000 after defeating Vimeciezo Zhotso in the final. The runner-up received INR 12,000. Third placed Vishekhoto Khieya was awarded with INR 10,000 and fourth position holder Ropfü Natso received INR 8,000.

In junior division, Thejangulie Khieya emerged champion after taking down Vinosa Khatso in the final. He received INR 5,000 while the runner-up pocketed INR 3,000.

Keneiprazu Tase, a village elder, gave away prizes to the winners.
