Aizawl, Jan. 10 (PTI): C Lalramzauva, a senior advocate, has been appointed adviser to Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga, according to an official notification.
He had unsuccessfully contested against former state chief minister Lal Thanhawla in Serchhip constituency thrice.
The notification issued Wednesday by joint secretary for department of personnel and administrative reforms said the new adviser will draw an honorarium of Rs 30,000 per month. He would enjoy the rank of principal secretary to the state government.
Lalramzauva would be entitled to an official car with a driver, air travel, daily allowances and a household peon.
