Dimapur, March 29 (EMN): Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has directed the home delivery firms to maintain proper hygiene and sanitisation protocols such as zero contact with customers, use and changing of gloves after delivery, use of mask and sanitisation of products.
The order stated that delivery rates should not exceed INR 50 within Kohima municipal jurisdiction during the lockdown period.
Home delivery firms within Kohima are YV Deliveries (+917086471846), OE Express (+918729879861), Drift Basket (+918795412096), and Seithogei Green Caravan (+917005127505).
Citizens are asked to send feedback/ complaint to kmc.kohima@gmail.com for any delivery related issues.
Meanwhile, KMC has set price rate of essential commodities after an emergency meeting with the wholesalers.
The revised rate of tomato is INR 30 per kg, green chilly (tepa)- INR 60 per kg, green chilly (micro)- INR 70 per kg, onion- INR 40 per kg, potato- INR 30 per kg, cabbage- INR 20 per kg, garlic- INR 150 per kg, masoor dal (lentil)- INR 70 per kg, rahar dal- INR 100 per kg, mong dal- INR 110 per kg, sugar- INR 50 per kg, egg- INR 160 per plate, rice (Arham, Andra)- INR 1850 (per 50 kg), rice (boil)- INR 850 (per 25 kg).
It further informed that no commodity should be sold beyond the MRP or fixed rate.
