Dimapur, Nov. 28 (EMN): DICE Foundation and Team Metamorphosis, a non- profit organisation, along with Bedi Pachao Bedi Padhao under Wokha district administration will host an International Kids Film Festival (IKFF) in Wokha town hall on November 30. The film festival is being organised in collaboration with LXL, an education consultant based in Bangalore.
IKFF, conceived by LXL Ideas, is a world’s largest children’s film festival aimed at inspiring and bring about meaningful and globally diverse cinema to school students across the world, an update from the president of Team Metamorphosis M James Tungoe stated on Thursday.
He stated that over the past two decades, LXL Ideas has produced over 1000 films for children and youth and added that school cinema today is being used by 700,000+ students in four countries.
He also stated that during its second edition in 2018, IKFF had travelled to 4000 schools and reached two million children across the world from India to Tanzania, from Pakistan to France, from Kazakhstan to Qatar and from Nepal to Jordan. He added that this year, IKKF had targeted to cover 40 countries covering three million students by travelling to 9000 schools with 100 international movies.
He stated that the organisers have already send invitation to different schools in town to send atleast 100 students from Classes III to XII.
