KFL: Forerunners FC thrash Khriekesa FC 6-2

Kohima, June 11 (EMN): Forerunners FC, 4 NAP BN, Thizama, now has six points  on the table after defeating Khriekesa FC, Meriema 6-2 at the ongoing Kohima Football League on Tuesday, June 11 at the IG Stadium, in Kohima.

Defending champion Sechü Zubza FC, leads the table with six points.

Table-wise, Forerunners FC is ahead of five other teams with a consistent record by far. In the first half of the match, Sanyem and Vekhrüto scored a goal each, in the ninth and 21st minute respectively leading Forerunners FC by 2-0. Another goal from Vekhrüto came at the 53rd minute of the match. The team went on to score three more goals, when Razouvito scored two goals in the 62nd and 71st minute, and one more goal by Khwetelhi in the 75th minute.

Khriekesa FC managed to score two goals in the last few minutes at the 87th and 90+5 minute, through the boots of Abomei and Neiphrezolie respectively.

Both Khriekesa FC and Forerunners FC still have four more matches to play till June 23.
