KET trustees interact with Naga book publishers, writers

Dimapur, April 8 (EMN): The Trustees of Kohima Educational Trust (KET) of UK held an interaction session with the Naga book publishers, entrepreneurs, media houses and writers at Hotel Japfu, Kohima on April 8.

KET CEO Sylvia May said during the occasion that she was proud that her father Gordon Graham, honorary founder and president of the Trust, had “inspired many people to share his vision to commemorate those who fought and died in Kohima, and the Naga people who have done so much for the British in the past resolved to found the KET as a debt of honour to the Naga people,” informed a statement from DIPR.

The statement that May “is now actively working to put something back into the community and promote the work of the Trust in Kohima. She also said that she loves to travel, talk about books and help people in selling their books internationally.

Kohima Educational Society (KES) President Charles Chasie said that KET will organise a workshop on news reporting and story writing for young writers. The KET trustees, Stephen White, Chairman of the UK Media Monitoring Association also spoke during the occasion.

Problems faced by the local writers, publishers, media houses and entrepreneurs were shared during the interaction session.
