Dimapur, April 20 (EMN): A ministry called Impact Ministry organized in partnership with Eden Medical Centre (EMC) a medical camp on Good Friday, April 19 at United Adivasi village in Karbi Anglong of Assam. The organisers offered updates in a press release about the event on Saturday.
The medical camp was conducted with the assistance of Eden Medical Centre with the objective to ‘reach out and provide basic medical care and support’ to the villages, the press release stated.

A team of two physicians, a pharmacist and two nurses rendered their services at the camp. A total 177 patients were treated, given consultations and medicine for free, the organisers stated. Some patients were referred for further treatment at nearby hospitals, the updates informed.

Tilu Bagh, stated to be the gaon bura of the village was quoted as having expressed happiness for the health services. ‘We are very fortunate to have an efficient medical team from EMC to provide good medical care to our needy villagers specially those who are sick and old, and also those who cannot afford to go to the city for treatment,’ he was quoted as having said so.
