Imsutemjen Memorial Table Tennis tourney ends

Mokokchung, Dec. 29 (EMN): The 8th Imsutemjen Memorial Table Tennis Tournament organised by Longtrok Senden Ungma was held from December 26 to the 28th at Langpang Lenden.
An update from the organisers informed the three-day tournament witnessed players competing in six categories. In the men’s open single, Dijanglung Kamson emerged winner and Meihomlung Rongmei, runner-up.
In men’s doubles, the duo of Dijanglung Kamson and Meihomlung Rongmei defeated Meyinukshi Longkumer and Wapangtoshi R Jamir in the final.
In junior boys’ singles, Ahupeka Assumi and Tongpangshilu were winner and runner-up respectively. In junior boys’ doubles, the pair of Ricky Hinglak and Lijempong trumped Ahupeka Assumi and Tongpangshilu.
In junior girl’s singles, Unokali Assumi and Linotoli Assumi were the winner and runner-up respectively. In the veteran’s singles, Meihomlung Rongmei beat Zhekugha Assumi to clinch the title.
The closing function was graced by Atoba, executive engineer of PWD (R&B) Mokokchung as special guest.
