Imchaba Master Memorial Nagaland Open Trophy: 4 teams win on day-2

Dimapur, Sep. 18 (EMN): The ongoing 14th Imchaba Master Memorial Nagaland open Volleyball trophy played at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex in Mokokchung saw some exciting matches on Tuesday evening and on Wednesday.

The media and event promotion committee on Wednesday stated that Changtongya Volleyball Association ‘B’ humiliated Sosang Club, Longpayimsen 26-24; 20-25; 25-21; 25-17, and new entrant DEF Mokokchung beat Amy United, Khensa 25-15; 25-21; 25-15 late on Tuesday.

In last match on Tuesday, defending champions Sakutemjen Memorial Club, Chungtiayimsen defeated the formidable Sukushomi Club, Dimapur 25-16; 18-25; 25-23; 25-17.

On Wednesday’s first match Longsa Sports Association marked its first win by beating Amy United, Khensa 25-13; 25-19; 25-14. In the second match, DEF Mokokchung secured its second win by defeating Contender Club Ajiqa 28-26; 25-15; 25-20.

Sukushomi Club, Dimapur also recovered its previous loss by defeating Changtongya Volleyball Association ‘B’ 25-19; 23-25; 25-10; 25-18, while Changtongya Volleyball Association ‘A’ beat Amy United Khensa 25-7; 25-12; 25-16.
