Dimapur, March 28 (EMN): Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) on Saturday issued license to two delivery services—Ahibo LLP and Freshzola—permitting them to deliver essential commodities such as groceries, green vegetables, fruits, to name a few, door-to-door within the DMC jurisdiction.
In a notification issued on Saturday, the council stated that the firms will adopt proper safety and precautionary measures as per the guidelines issued by Health department.
In addition, permission was also accorded to the Nagaland Two Wheeler Taxi Association, Dimapur to provide the same services within the DMC jurisdiction. The three delivery services have been directed to ensure that proper sanitisation procedures such as gloves, mask and maintaining a distance of at least two metre with the customers are followed.
They can deliver the goods 24×7, not overcharge for the goods and follow approved market rate/price; and should comply/follow all other directives as passed either by the DMC/central/state government time to time., it stated. They have also been informed that the delivery rates should not exceed more than INR 50.
The notification stated that the permits were valid with immediate effect. However, the DMC reserved the right to cancel the permit in the event of breach of the above terms and conditions or any other dispute in future.
