Governor wishes on occasion of Id-Ul Zua

Dimapur, Sep. 1 (EMN): The Governor of Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh, PB Acharya has conveyed his greetings to the people of Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh, particularly to all Muslims in both the States on the occasion of Id-ul Zuha.
In a message received from the Raj Bhavan, the Governor hoped that the sacred occasion will further strengthen the “rich Islamic tradition of faith, brotherhood and devotion amongst the believers and others”.
“Id –Ul Zuha, also known as Bakrid is celebrated by Muslims across the globe in the honour of Prophet Ibrahim, who was even willing to sacrifice his son Ismail to please Almighty Allah. ‘This festival epitomizes the noble values of sacrifice, trust and forgiveness. I wish that this festival inspire all of us to sacrifice our personal benefits in the larger interest of the country as a whole, ” stated the press release.
He also called on all to firmly resolve and build a peaceful, harmonious, fraternal and progressive society. ‘I wish that Allah’s blessings light up the path of oneness and lead to happiness and success’ he stated.
