Kohima, Oct. 15 (EMN): A video of one of the contestants of this year’s Miss Kohima beauty pageant responding to a question from the judges has gone viral on the internet, drawing the attention of various national news outlets on Tuesday.

During the recently concluded Miss Kohima pageant, Khrielievinuo Suohu, crowned first runner-up, was asked in the final round: “If the prime minister of our country, (Narendra) Modi, invites you to chat with him, what would you say?”

The 19-year-old contestant responded: “If I were invited to have a chat with the prime minister of India, I would tell him to focus more on women instead of cows.”

Suohu’s reply went viral on twitter after a user uploaded the video on October 15; garnering more than 60K views and 1.7K retweets—and continuing.

The full video of Miss Kohima 2019 was first uploaded to YouTube by a Naga journalist on October 6. The particular snippet from his video was then shared across social networking sites and various other platforms.

Meanwhile, most of the national media outlets had erroneously credited the response to Vikuonuo Sachu, the second runner-up of the beauty pageant, instead of Khrielievinuo Suohu.

Suohu, who is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree at Kros College, Kohima was also declared the winner of Miss Photogenic and Queen of Hearts titles during the event.

The ultimate title of Miss Kohima went to 22-year-old Khrienuo Liezietsu.
