Four from Manipur honoured with IMA distinguished services award

Imphal, Dec. 28 (EMN): Four members of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Manipur state branch, were honoured with the IMA distinguished services award in recognition of their services in the health sector and the IMA.

The award was handed over during the concluding day of the 94th annual national conference of the IMA at the Bishwa Bangla Convention Centre, Newtown, in Kolkata.

The awardees were Dr. Sinam Rajendra Singh, Dr. Shyamkumar Laishram, Dr. A Vivekanand Singh, and Dr. Nelson Loitongbam.

It was informed that various issues pertaining to the healthcare scenario in India and of the medical fraternity across the country were deliberated during the conference.
