Dimapur, Oct. 14 (EMN): A day after calling upon the negotiators involved in the Indo-Naga talks to abide by the three-month deadline, the ‘sessional’ chairman of the group representing former legislators of Nagaland, Nillo Rengma has issued a clarification.

“As the sessional chairman of the meeting of Ex Parliamentarians Association Nagaland held at Hotel Seb Tower, Dimapur, on October 11, I’d like to clarify that the house made only a single sentence resolution, that is, ‘to urge the Naga negotiators to bring solution without any delay,’” read a statement from the former minister on Monday.

According to him, the clarification has been necessitated in the light of the press statement released by the association on October 14. “In any meeting, it’s the norm that opinions will be shared and discussed but it’s the resolution or resolutions which defines the stand of any organisation as such,” Rengma stated.
