Dimapur, May 22 (EMN): DC Dimapur Kevekha Kevin Zehol has issued an update on the ongoing intensive earth-cutting work from Patkai to Pakala Pahar (Kukidolong) Bridge for which he had earlier issued an order restricting “all movement” from 10:30 pm to 5 am from May 20 to June 20. He informed in a statement that “out of the stretch of 128 + 950 km, a stretch of 129 + 300 km has been opened.”

The DC stated that the 60-metre height hill is now reduced to 45 metres after working for the last two nights, and that 10 excavators along with two rock breakers and 15 dumpers are being used for carrying out the intensified works. He added that 245 trips of rocks/ soil were done on Tuesday night alone.
