DIMAPUR — The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) has sanctioned four education and three health sector projects amounting to INR 175.80 crore in Nagaland during 2022 to 2026.
As of December 31, 2025, INR 71.66 crore has been released and INR 48.54 crore utilised.
In an update, the DoNER Ministry stated that under its schemes, the ministry has sanctioned 49 education and 26 health sector projects in the North Eastern states during the year from 2022-23 to 2025-26, and the total sanctioned cost of these projects is INR 3601.06 crore, against which INR 1653.39 crore has been released and INR 995.37 crore utilised, as of December 31, 2025.

It mentioned that the independent evaluation of the schemes, carried out by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong, highlights the importance of DoNER schemes for the development of the North Eastern Region in various sectors including Health and Education.
