Dimapur, June 14 (EMN): Nagaland region of the National Domestic Workers Movement (NDWM), in collaboration with Assisi Centre for Integrated Development (ACID) and All Nagaland Domestic Workers Union (ANDWU) organised street play on gender-based violence on women at Super Market and Railway Station.

During the event, women displayed placards some of which read: “Gender equality is not a woman’s issue, it is a human issue, it affects all,” “A house where a woman is unsafe is not a home,” “Say no to gender-based violence,” “Your voice is a powerful force for equality,” “Abuse is not a part of job.”

The street play was organised to create awareness on gender-based violence both at home and workplace.
