Dimapur, Aug. 23 (EMN): Dimapur police arrested four persons in connection with extortion on August 20 and recovered INR 11,45,460 from their possession.
According to a press release issued by Additional Commissioner of Police and PRO, the accused were identified as Luckin Mashangva (43) of Choithel village in Ukhrul district, Manipur and resident of 4th Mile, Diphupar; Jaikishan Sharma (48) of Batya Vhriman village in Hisar district, Haryana and resident of Khonsa, Tirap, Arunachal Pradesh; Sangin Wangsu (40) of Kaimai village under Khonsa and resident of Deomali, Tirap in Arunachal Pradesh; and Wanglik Tangjang (34) of Kaimai village in Khonsa and resident of Deomali, Tirap in Arunachal Pradesh.
The update added that cases have been registered at Dimapur East Police Station.
