Dimapur, March 16 (EMN): Dimapur District GBs’ Association (DDGBA) anticipated final solution to the protracted Indo-Naga political issue under the leadership of Qhehezu Tuccu, yaruiwo (president) of NSCN (IM).
DDGBA expressed this concern during its meeting with Qhehezu Tuccu at CHQ Hebron on March 16. DDGBA team led by its president, Khehovi V Chophi, congratulated him on his appointment to the top position of the NSCN (I-M) leadership.
The team expressed optimism that under his leadership ‘A final political solution’ between the Nagas and GOI would come about keeping in mind the present political scenario of the Government of India. DDGBA also anticipated that both the GOI and the NSCN (IM) leadership would be sincere enough to expedite the political solution.
DDGBA press release issued by its president Khehovi V Chophi, and the information secretary, R Changkum, stated that the team’s call for ‘early political solution’ was well received and reciprocated in a positive re-enforcement by the IM leadership.
