Dimapur, Sep. 10 (EMN): On day 8 of the Dimapur Football League (DFL) played on Tuesday, September 10, the first match between SM College and One Ten ended in a 2-2 draw.
The first two goals for One Ten in the first half came from the boots of Mantho in the 13th minute and Zachamo in the 29th minute.
The goals for SM College were scored by Rhitsho, in the 65th minute and Kakai, in the 68th minute.
Earlier, the match patron of the day was Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) President, Sedevilie Angami. Addressing the gathering, Sedevilie said the DNSU is concerned about the upcoming talents in various sports activities but rued the lack of infrastructure in the state to harness and promote young talents. He appealed the concerned authority and state government to emphasise on creating the much needed sports infrastructure. Sedevilie appealed the state government towards early completion of the state stadium at Dimapur. The DNSU president lauded the Naga United FC which is organising the DFL for providing a platform for young players to showcase their talents.
