Derive maximum output with minimum resources– Along

Dimapur, April 9 (EMN): Acknowledging that Nagaland is not prepared technological for any pandemic, minister of Higher and Technical, Tribal Affairs and minister in-charge of Peren district on Covid-19 Temjen Imna Along urged the people to devise a mechanism to derive maximum output with the minimum resources.

Speaking at a meeting with the medical staff, district administration, and police at Jalukie town in Peren district on April 9, Imna Along urged the medical staff to make use of the resources to fight against the global Covid-19 pandemic by creating more awareness in the district even at the grassroots.

Imna Along, accompanied by advisor of Water Resources Namri Nchang, visited CHC Jalukie for a review meeting with the doctors and staff to assess the availability of resources and measures adopted to fight against Covid-19, a DIPR report stated.

Stating that outbreak of Covid-19 in Nagaland would be a disaster, Imna Along urged the gathering to seek God’s protection. He further encouraged the medical staff to be more vigilant while dealing with the patient.

Also speaking in the meeting, Namri lauded the medical staff of CHC Jalukie as well as those who were assigned for duty on their overall performance.

The minister also visited the isolation ward and inspected the Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs).

Earlier, Dr. Dennis Hangsing, CMO Peren; Dr. Nukshisangla, DIO; and Dr. Supongmenla, deputy CMO Peren, have highlighted on the district preparedness for tackling Covid-19, its action plan, and also presented count of the available equipment received so far by the medical team.

Later, Imna Along and Namri Nchang visited Tening town and briefed the government officials and public on precautionary measures for Covid-19. The legislators also inspected the hospital and offices located in Tening town.
