Club undertakes projects to make Dimapur plastic-free

Dimapur, July 27 (EMN): Inner Wheel Club (IWC), Dimapur has accomplished two important projects namely ‘Best out of waste’ and ‘Say no to plastic’ in Dimapur city on July 24 under the leadership of its president Pinky Agarwal.

Under ‘Best out of waste’ project, the club members distributed newspaper bags to vegetable vendors, pan- shop, moori wala, pani-puri wala and tea stores.

Under ‘Say no to plastic’ project, the members initiated making Dimapur a plastic-bag free zone by distributing the jute bags in different showrooms.

While distributing the above mentioned eco-friendly carry-bags, the members mentioned the hazards of plastics and passed the information regarding discard of plastic bags.
