Clean Nagaland: Good Shepherd Club initiates cleanliness drive in Kohima

Dimapur, July 20 (EMN): The Good Shepherd Club Kohima in collaboration with Lerie Sanitation Committee organised a cleanliness drive at Lerie Colony, Kohima under the banner of Swacch Bharat Summer Internship on July 20.
The cleanliness drive was carried out on the theme “Wake up Kohimains! It’s time to keep our district clean,” informed Good Shepherd Club, Kohima in a statement.

The initiative was undertaken to sensitise on the importance of living a clean and hygienic life. The club also encouraged all the shops located at Lerie Colony to clean their surroundings before opening their shops and to discard waste at proper disposal places.

The club has extended its gratitude to the Lerie sanitation committee for helping make the campaign a success and bring about awareness on the importance of cleanliness around the colony.
