Church workers sensitised on HIV/AIDS

Dimapur, May 15 (EMN):
Continuing to address the issue of HIV/AIDS, Nagaland Development Outreach (NDO), social wing of NBCC, organised a one-day advocacy programme with the theological students and church workers under Nagamese Baptist Churches Association (NBCA) at its mission centre, Kuda village (Nagarjan), Dimapur.

The resource persons were Rev. C Amop Noklang and A Vikheho Chisho. They spoke on responsibilities of the church in the creation of God, role of church in addressing HIV/AIDS, and HIV/AIDS transmission and how to prevent them.

Handouts were given to the participants for their references with the latest data on HIV/AIDS scenario in Nagaland.
