Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio mourned the demise of Khotuo-ü Liezietsu and extended condolences to the family.

DIMAPUR — Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Sunday expressed grief at the death of Khotuo-ü Liezietsu, wife of former Nagaland chief minister Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu.
In a condolence message, Rio described the late Liezietsu as a prayerful woman who kept her family united through faith and love.
He said that she was a devoted mother, wife, and grandmother who nurtured her children with values of humility and perseverance, while standing firmly beside her husband throughout his long political journey.

The chief minister stated that she would be fondly remembered for her warmth, kindness, and friendly nature by all who knew her.
“Her gentle spirit, compassionate heart, and the love she shared with everyone around her touched countless lives and left behind cherished memories,” Rio stated.
Calling her a guiding light for the family, Rio said that her legacy of goodness would continue to inspire many.
Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, the chief minister said his family joined him in extending heartfelt condolences and prayers for strength and solace during the difficult time of grief.
He also prayed that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
