Be a Biblical BJP of Nagaland, says Luoliehu Yimsung

Kohima, Aug. 21 (EMN): Reverend Luoliehu Yimsung, founder of Leader Arise Nagaland (LAN) and Initiator of Oversees Naga Association (ONA), reminded the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland unit not to go to “alliance for the sake of alliance” and asked the leaders to lead their political group with strategy and purpose.

Using various references from the Bible while speaking during a motivational seminar on “Alliance – Biblical Perspective” organised at Hotel Japfu, in Kohima on Wednesday, Yimsung called upon the BJP leaders in Nagaland to be a “Biblical BJP of Nagaland” and “biblical people’s party” while standing their ground from “biblical perspective” so that they may succeed in fulfilling their party’s obligations, aims and objectives.

Yimsung said that alliance was meant to further the cause of one’s destiny and for establishment of accurate rules. He also appealed to the state unit to have their “party’s plan according to the plan of God” and to speak His heart to the nation; to be persistent in the right ways and bring changes to the society. “An alliance must be established through God’s direction,” he said.

He cautioned the party workers not to follow leaders as they are human but to seek God for guidance. Yimsung also asked the participants to be disciplined, adding that they could have a form of RSS in their own way, whose volunteers are disciplined, organised and humble. “You got to be ‘Royal Spiritual Soldiers’ (RSS) in Nagaland to be successful,” he suggested.

The reverend also stated that the “DNA of BJP” should raise through “sons” and “daughters” of the land and sought the party leaders’ knowledge and wisdom to “inject young blood” to be contributors. “We need more fathers in BJP, not leaders,” he appealed. Stressing on the importance of “unity in diversity,” he further encouraged the party members to have mutual respect for each other irrespective of one’s status and look for one’s brother, sister and companion in the party to grow together, while working for the welfare of each other in the party.

While asking the attendees to be faithful, Yimsung reminded them not to leave God in their venture, saying “together, we can do so much for Nagaland.”
