Bangjak Phom colony grateful for flood relief

Dimapur, Oct. 13 (EMN): The Bangjak Phom colony council has expressed gratitude to people who helped the area’s people during a recent flood.

The Bangjak Phom colony at Walford of ward-4 in Dimapur was affected by a flood on Oct. 12 and the 13th, reports stated.

The council acknowledged the efforts and contribution of Dimapur’s deputy commissioner, the district administration, and Rotary Club, Red Cross Society, Home Guard & Civil Defence, Nagaland State Disaster Management, Dimapur Municipal Council, and medical teams for their timely assistance and relief work during the time of need.

The colony is grateful to the Dimapur administration, Red Cross Society at Dimapur, and Rotary Club at Dimapur for supplying essential commodities, drinking water and tents for the effected families.

The council stated that the Dimapur district hospital also conducted free medical check-up for the residents. The council has acknowledged the medical team including health personnel from UPHC-1 at Burma Camp for conducting free medical check for the people there.
