Auditions announced for Mr. and Miss Nagaland mega model

An event management group called Nagaland Mega Entertainment’s (NME) first ever “Nagaland Mega Model Hunt 2020” campus auditions will be conducted from February. The open and grand finale auditions will take place on March 10 at Hotel Japfu in Kohima.

This was informed by the NME president Samuel Achy Phom and secretary Marlin in a press note on Thursday.

“The winner of contest will get a direct entry to the Mr and Miss India Globe and will also get an opportunity to compete for the new northeast brand ambassador search called Mayong,” the press note maintained. The winners of Mayong will be the brand ambassador for a period of one year paid contract, it stated.

The grand finale of the Mr and Miss Nagaland mega model hunt will be held on June 13 2020.

The organisers have called for males and females between the ages 17 to 27 years with minimum height of 5’7 and above for male and 5’5′ and above for female for the auditions.

“The event is an art and culture show aiming and conceptualising the rich culture and diversity of the modern outlook of the coming generations. This platform will help youngsters to compete amongst the best and talented from all districts and tribes. At this contest the most desirable, talented and appealing male and female will be selected as winners for the prestigious title.  ‘Nagaland Mega Model Hunt’ winner 2020 and they will represent Nagaland outside the state and beyond,” the updates stated.

Through this event, the organisers maintained that the NME will also appoint talented ethnic Naga designers who are strongly committed to preserving the traditions and cultures of Nagaland.

“We will also give opportunity to traditional artists, dancers, singers and musicians. Our objectives are to promote Naga traditions and cultural heritage with a modern touch and help the coming generations to achieve and reach their goals and will help them promote,” the press note stated.
