Dimapur, Aug. 18 (EMN): The first women football tournament organised by A’chak Society Dimapur (ASD) was held at Ekranipathar public village play ground from August 13 to the 15th. Seven teams participated in the tournament, stated the secretary of ASD in an update on Sunday.
Eralibill A Women Football Club thrashed Dobagaon B Women Football Club 7-0 in the final match to emerge champions.
The highest scorer was awarded to Ruth Momin (Eralibill), while the best goalkeeper and best player of the tournament was awarded to was Dhelki Momin and Diya Momin.
Earlier, the opening ceremony was attended by Shashi Longchar as the chief guest while Hotoshe Zhimomi attended the closing ceremony as the special guest.
