Dimapur, November 10: With the worsening of road condition between Lumami and Akhuluto town under Zunheboto district, a road maintenance drive was undertaken by district administration with support from company operating base of 5 Assam Rifles at Akuluto on November 10.
The drive was initiated with a view to spread awareness about importance of proper road communication and the need to maintain it. Troops of Company Operating Base of Akuluto, 5 Assam Rifles and villagers of Akuluto took active participation in maintenance of the road.
The action taken by Assam Rifles team was highly appreciated and applauded by the locals and civil administration.
