Dimapur, Nov. 9 (EMN): The Zunheboto district planning and development board (DPDB) was held on Nov. 8 at the DC’s conference under the chairmanship of with advisor for tourism, art and culture, Khehovi Yepthom. The advisor, while speaking that the programme, asked the members to be regular in attending the board meetings. He asked the deputy commissioner to check the attendance of the members. The deputy commissioner highlighted on the preparations about the upcoming mini hornbill festival and requested the members to give their full cooperation towards the sucess of the festival. During the meeting, the house
discussed about the complaint by the Sumi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu (SKK)against the irregular employees in the government offices and institutions. The board gave directions to submit attendance of DPDB members in the next meeting.
The house decided to verify the spot for construction of Sewage near the main road, South Point Zunheboto. The board also decided to forward the opening of a new school ‘Showfield School’ Aghunato Town.
The sr. treasury officer briefed the board about the criteria for creation of sub-treasury office; after thorough deliberation, the board decided forward to Government for further action.
A PowerPoint was given by assistant director of food and civil supplies departments. and the next powerpoint will be presented by R&B (PWD) and Agricultural Department. The meeting concluded with a word of thanks from the chair.
