ZKPO appeals for release of abducted youth

Dimapur, Dec. 19 (EMN): Zeliang-Kuki Public Organisation (ZKPO) has appealed for release of Lalneiniew Saith, son of Ngaithangniew Saith of Khel village under Peren district, who was abducted by unidentified miscreants on November 25. ZKPO president Lamjasei Singson and the vice president Rangnim stated that the youth has been missing for more than 20 days and his where about is not known till date. It added that the unprecedented development had created fear psychosis and panic in Ahthibung and Kebai Khelma area. The public and ZKPO in particular have expressed sorrow and anguish over the abduction of innocent youth at this time of the season when everyone is prepared to celebrate Christmas – birth of Christ- with their families and loved ones. ZKPO has further urged the concerned persons for the same and timely release of the abducted youth at the earliest and allow peace and harmony to prevail as the people celebrates the birth of ‘Prince of Peace.’
