Zhimomi inaugurates weekly bazaar at Khaghaboto town

Dimapur, Nov. 18 (EMN): Member of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Jacob Zhimomi on Friday inaugurated a weekly bazaar at Khaghaboto town as chief guest.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, Zhimomi congratulated the people of Khaghaboto on the occasion. He said that establishing a weekly market was a step towards the growth of town and the area at large. It was important to have a platform such as weekly bazaar where the local populace can sell their local produce and thereby add to the economic growth and stability of the town and locality, said Zhimomi.
Stressing on the need for the growth of the township, he urged the people to have the desire to have developmentally progressive society and to promote the market and to let it flourish it into a bigger market.
President Khaghaboto Tokukujo Kukami Kuqhakulu Vikato Sumi, Vikiye Achumi, GB Saul Zhimomi, and GB Qhehoyi Yepthomi also spoke during the function. In their speech, they appreciated Zhimomi for his concern for the people and that the people should uphold his leadership.
Chairman of Khaghaboto Area Church Leaders’ Fellowship, Khekivi Aye offered dedicatory prayer.
