Dimapur, March 29 (EMN): An art event, ‘Paint for Peace’, is encouraging children and students in Wokha town to paint walls and open areas as an expression of their opinions about conflict and peace.

Paint for Peace is an initiative of the We Are Young Foundation, supported by the Foundation for Social Transformation to engage children and youths from marginalised communities to ensure active participation of children in peace building and development by enabling them to internalize various life skills they can use.

Over the past two days here in Wokha, children have expressed their understanding and opinions about peace and conflict in this region through mural art and paintings on walls.
