Western Angami Youth Orgaisation (WAYO) has instated a new team of office bearers for the tenure 2016-2019. The local group is led by Neidilhoutuo Neibu Sechü as its president. The handing and taking over of the WAYO responsibility was formally done today at Satuo Kikramia Ki, Sechüma village.
Speaking at the induction programme, the new WAYO president Neidilhoutuo Sechü lauded the pioneers and former leaders of WAYO for their efforts and sacrifices rendered for the well being of the Western Angami people and youth in particular.
Stating that the WAYO, since its formation, had contributed immensely for the welfare of the society, the new president attributed the achievements for the leadership the former WAYO leaders have provided during their time. “The new team will continue to uphold the constitution of WAYO and work for the welfare of the society at large,” he said. He sought continued cooperation from the units.
The outgoing president Zakiekhotuo Khawakhrie welcomed the new team.
He thanked his colleagues for rendering their best during their tenure. Khawakhrie also thanked the units and all those who rendered their service, guidance, cooperation and financial assistance to the outgoing team.
