Local singer Virie Kts announced her presence to the local music scene with a cover of Lorde’s hit single, ‘Yellow Flicker Beat.’ Just recently, her debut single “Silver Lining Skies,” featuring local rock group Polar Lights, bagged her the “Best Collaboration of the Year” award in the first ever Inihut Music Awards last year. She hasn’t turned back ever since. Kts had also collaborated with other other musicians such as ZAZA Bangs and released a single “A li’l taste” that landed her a spot of recognition in the local music scene. Virie and Zaza met in the year 2015. It was instant chemistry for both – as is being explained –when they found out that they shared common interest in music production. They started off by performing a few gigs together. Seeing that they complimented each other, the duo began performing cover songs.
Their first ever original “Down that Road” will be released exclusively on Indihut.com, a Nagaland-based ecommerce website, on March 26. The talented duo plans to work on more originals, besides covers of course.
