(EM Images)[/caption] Our Correspondent Imphal, Jan. 19 (EMN): The US women polo team thrashed Indian Polo Association (IPA-India) team by a goal margin of 10-4 in the last pool B league match of the of the 5-day long 4th edition of the Manipur Statehood Day Women’s Polo Tournament here at the Mapal Kangjeibung, on Sat. Jan. 19. The scorers for the US team are Stephani Massey (4), Megan Carter Judge (3), Anna Winslow (2), and Cindy Halle (1) while the scorer of IPA-India includes Monica Saxena (2) and Abigail Glater (2). The All Manipur Polo Association is organising the tournament under the sponsorship of the Department of Tourism from Jan. 17-21. Four foreign countries -USA, Kenya, Canada and Argentina besides two other domestic teams –IPA-India and IPA-Manipur are participating in the tournament. Earlier in the last pool A league match, host IPA-Manipur and defending champion Kenya had an exciting 7-7 draw.
