Upper Bayavü Sixers, Peraciezie Royals win

Kohima, Nov. 30 (EMN): Upper Bayavii Sixers beat Lower Bayavii Giants by one wicket in Group A match of the ongoing 5th edition of 10th Northern Angami-1 T20 Bash played here at KVC ground, Ziekezou, Kohima village on Thursday.
Sixers elected to bowl and restricted Giants to a total of 136 runs in 20 overs. Hiketo (31 not out) and Tapitu (28) were the highest scorers for Giants, while Depepe took 3 wickets in 4 overs for the Sixers.
In reply, Sixers managed to reach the target in 15.1 overs scoring 139/9. Kamal (39) and Vikato (33) helped the team to reach the target, while Thungchamo claimed 3 wickets in 4 overs for the Giants. Vikhatho was adjudged man of the match.
Despite the defeat in their last league match, Lower Bayavii Giants book their quarterfinals berth with two wins and a defeat in Group A. In the first match, Peraciezie Royals defeated Themezie Perizie Titans by 18 runs.
Winning the toss, Titans elected to bowl but gave away 193/6 in 20 overs. Nzanthung (51) and Romokhon (51) added 102 runs for Royals, while Sunil took 2 wickets for the Titans.
Chasing a mammoth 194, Titans were all bowled out for 175 runs in 20 overs. Half-centuries from Sunil (56) and Toluto (56) were not enough to lift the team to victory as they fell short by 18 runs. Renchio took 2 wickets for Royals. Sunil of Titans was adjudged man of the match.
